Hot Topic will be releasing an exclusive 2 song disk featuring two songs from From First To Last’s upcoming album on February 12th. The disk will include the songs “We All Turn Back To Dust” & “I Once Was Lost But Now Am Profound”. The full album will be available April 15th.

Travis Richter ответил на мой вопросы о том, на какую песню ФФТЛ будут снимать клип и когда появится официальный трэк-лист альбома?
Он сказал, что скорее всего клип будет снят на песню We All Turn Back To Dust, а трэк-лист появится в ближайшее время!

Ive made many mistakes in the past not listening to doc so i figured i'd play it safe this time. But its all still love...

FROM FIRST TO LAST ANNOUNCE NEW SELF-TITLED ALBUM

Suretone Records is proud to announce the release of the new self-titled album by Los Angeles quartet, From First To Last. Produced by Josh Abraham (30 Seconds to Mars, Slayer and Velvet Revolver) and mixed by Brendan O'Brien (Rage Against the Machine, Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam), FROM FIRST TO LAST, elaborates on the band's existing punk musical aggression with intricate song arrangements and melodic minded choruses. Set for an April 15th release, FROM FIRST TO LAST, introduces new bass player Matt Manning to the line up of co-founders Matt Good, Travis Richter and Derek Bloom. Beginning February 14th in Detroit, MI, the band will perform on the 34-date 2008 Take Action tour.
From First To Last pushes the envelope on their Suretone Records debut, with songs that are more adventurous and at the same time have a stronger melodic sensibility than anything the band has done to date while remaining true to their original sound. Having already appeared on the cover of Alternative Press and featured as a band to look out for in 2008, FROM FIRST TO LAST remains dangerous but allows new front man, Matt Good, to convey his angst through melody and compelling delivery. The song "We All Turn Back To Dust" is a perfect example of this electrifying combination of urgency and desire.
In December, the band debuted the albums lead off track "Two As One," on their myspace page. The song's youthful energy and clever intensity, was met with immediate approval among fans, resulting in over 500,000 plays and a tremendous amount of action on message boards.
On February 12th, From First To Last will release an exclusive 2 song CD through Hot Topic. The CD will feature the songs "We All Turn Back To Dust" and "Once Was Lost But Now Profound" from the bands upcoming album. A limited quantity of the exclusive CD will be available at this years Take Action tour. The release will coincide with a Hot Topic in-store performance in Novi, Michigan on February 13th.
For a band who made their career on touring and a dedicated fan base, From First To Last plans to spend most of 2008 on the road, including a headlining slot on this year's Warped Tour.

UPDATE FROM HOME!!

Hey guys its Travis..I'm in south Georgia right now kickin it at the fftl house, ricky chris, manning and elric are all sleeping still so i figured i would get on here and say hey to everyone really quick. We got a mouse for matt good's snake to eat today so everyone have a moment of silence for the humble victim... So anyways, on with what i guess is just rambling and news..
Right under the FFTL top friends, right behind the Glorious Ron Paul '08 (isn't he such a cute old man!!) you will see we have added the bands that we will be touring with on the Take Action Tour.. Everytime I die, The Bled, August Burns Red and The Human Abstract..cant wait to meet all these dudes and kick it with my old buds that i do know.
Iv'e been really busy with my friend Kyle getting the artwork together for our exclusive hot topic single thats coming out durring the take action tour..we will also have some of these to sale on the road this remaining winter into spring.
The songs on there are 2 no one has heard..
1."We All Turn Back to Dust" <-so you might as well vote for ron paul (hahajk!)
2."I Once Was Lost But Now Am Profound"<--(because i realized Ron Paul wants to change things for the betterhaha)

Hey everyone, hope you had an awesome xmas, alot of my friends seemed to have had some strange ones, but i feel blessed to have spent some quality time at home in Albany, Ga with my family..i only see them once or twice a year so when its good its great. Right now i am in Valdosta, Ga kicking it with elric and lauren and manning. Chris is on his way from Alabama, and as soon as he gets here we are heading to hooters to eat some oysters with him and his family! Right now I am producing a few new songs for my friends Mia Medusa" !! Recently i started working with my old friend Lee Dyess at Earthsound Recording, and as soon as i had access to a studio i said to myself, "I want to record MIA MEDUSA!" so thats what i did, they are sick musicians so i was thrilled to have the opportunity to make a few new songs with them. Has everyone heard about Ron Paul?? He wants to be president and he is republican, but he sounds more like a democrat...and all the other republicans hate on him hard (which is awesome because they all suck) But if you are of voting age and want to make a REAL change in our lifetime, one that could be a great change for the world...then i think you should go to you tube and watch some of his videos, or check out his site cause he has videos on there www.ronpaul08.com

Anyways, im not even political, i use to be the guy that never voted because i couldnt choose between the douche and the terd sandwich, but this guy is a real alternative.. Everyone have an awesome time bring in the new year and thank you so much for your support and love in 2007

Ура! Начинается, ребята наконец перешли от слов к делу, т.е. начали выкладывать новые песни, вот ещё одна - Two As One. Это новые ФФТЛ, без Сонни. Песня давольно таки прикольная, но пока её можно только послушать либо на нашем сайте - Слушать! либо у ребят на myspace - разницы никакой=)

Помимо этого, гитарист группы Трэвис, ведёт дневник тура, в котором ребята ща выступают, и почитать его можно по это ССЫЛКЕ!.

We have successfully finished the album and it is being mixed by Lord Brendan O'Brien. So it will be hitting your ears early next year. Dont expect to it leak before that. the only copy will sealed in a freemasons temple deep below the atlantic ocean.
in case you dont know we have a sick new touring schedule that has just been posted, which will feature a bunch of our friends and many hours spent slaying noobs on halo 3. plus manning just bought squidbillies vol 1 so that is going to consume his and chris's life on tour. (williams st rules)
but im getting off topic. The tour is going to be extremely rad so go get your tickets!
on a couple of the dates. (ie Detroit. Grand Rapids. and Sauget) some of our great friends , Mia Medusa, will be gracing your ears and eyes. if you havent heard them then indulge, please. if you dont love it youre not listening correctly.
a new video will be posted soon showing some more studio footage. including guitars, bass , vocals and all that good stuff.

i think its like getting mixed right now and boy does it sound bad to the bone...im talking like get the EFF out the way cause its one crazy sounding S.O.B... haha anyways, chris and I are sitting in craig beasleys art room in valdosta, ga..we are about to start rehearsing for tour, we are going to be playing some songs off of dear diary, heroine, and the new record.. 2 records that we are jamming alot: Between the Burried and Me - Colors (they make everyone look stupid on their instruments) and RADIOHEAD - In Rainbows (i love this record so much ive listened to the album probably 35 times) these arent like poppy radio records, they arent for people who want a quick dose of boring cliche sounding music, even BTBAM for being a heavy band easily transcends the metal category... Lets all just get real together..lets get natural.

Сегодня могу вас обрадовать небольшой инфой о группе и парой видео=)) Как гласит сообщение с офа ФФТЛ, ребята заняты записью нового альбома, хотя на некоторое время они отвлекались от этого выступлениями в летнем туре по США и Канаде. А Дэрек сообщил ранее, что они записали около 4-х песен и он конечно же ждет не дождется когда мы их услышим, мы признаться тоже=) Ну а кульминацией нашего сообщения станет оригинал сообщений на английском и... 2 ВИДЕО НОВЫХ ПЕСН. Пост Travis'a о FFTL

Только что опубликовал, поэтому без пояснения не успел прочесть, т.к. много:

FFTL STUDIO UPDATE

Most of you know that when sonny quit we were pretty much on our own..we used the opportunity to part ways with our manger we had for a while Tim Smith, and our lable at the time ,capitol, was in the middle of a corporate take over so they wouldnt give us any money to start the record..so ultimately we were lableless too.

So naturally we went to Valdosta and recorded the album on our own at our boy Lee's studio and thats what got us signed to suretone/interscope and brought in our new manager Jordan Schurr.. But along with Jordan came the opportunity of totally starting over and making the record from scratch along side some veteran studio people, and being the studio nerds that we all are we of course took the chance (sick opportunity to gain studio knowledge!) and thats what's goin on now..

We are in LA recording with Josh Abraham and Ryan Williams.. Derek has completed 6 songs already, and i think he plays on 11 tracks total, so we are over the half way mark for drums and soon Manning will be busting out the dragontap on bass and Matt and myself will try to use way too many pedals on guitar(lol for studio ppl) and then we record vocals! If any of you caught us on tour then you kinda know how the vocals will be.. Matt, me (travis) and Manning will be doing all the vocals, and there's this certain way we all come together and it sounds so huge and all of us have like these crazy spastic screaming parts sometimes (even mr. good!) haha!!
This record is going to come across sounding loud, fun, heartfelt and full of excitement..Dereks drum parts are nuts, and we have songs that CRUSH and songs that everyone can sing along to, there is just alot of everything crammed into this mother! The plan is to finish tracking the record which should be roughly a few more weeks and then pick a song to release mad early with a video and start touring this winter in support of an early '08 release of the new fftl...
we havent totally decided what the tour is going to be, we have a bunch of options but when we know more about all this ill deffinitely let all of you know!

We will also be updating our new website with pictures from the studio and new videos of some random nonsense and us playing in the studio to hold everyone over until we are finished with this process!

we have 2 days off from the studio and we are bored with a whole lot of nothing to do!! LA can make you wanna hibernate..
we have 6 songs done on drums and its mind boggeling how good the drums sound haha so we should have new tunes up shortly..
well im gonna go back to watching comedy central dazed and confused lador day weekend movies and what not!

hey guys sorry i skipped a few daysss ie been super busy! so please forgive me! tour has been a blast all the texas dates were sickkkk!!! even the one that rained all day! last nite was killer too. thanks for everyone who has come out to see us and have hung with us after the shows! today we are in some place in texas and i went to the mall and got some sweetass tshirts and some chick fil a!! I LOVE CHICK FIL A! stoked. we are going to hooters in a hot second to get some good ole american wings then going to watch 1408 tonight cause we heard it was rad. headed to arizona tomorow then home for a day after that

Im in my bunk on the bus in a hotel parking lot in missouri. We have been rolling down the highway since saturday nite and im tired of riding. The first show is tommorow somewhere in illinois. We are all super stoked! shit is going to be sick! Im going to start doing these blog thingies kinda like a journal for the tour. Ill put up some videos and junk too so keep an eye on this trash! If your in illinois tommorow come out to the show and try not to have your face blown off buy the chunky tunes ill be shooting out of my bass! haha have a good nite manning

holy crap there is so much to say..
we have 12 songs with all the music done.
we are writing SICK VOCALS and taking our time aiming for greatness.
we are waiting to track the vocals until we are back from tour with hawthorne heights.
Josh Abraham has been awesome enough to step in, and take the load off our backs!
He will be producing and recording the VOCALS for the new album.
Brendan O Brien is mixxing !! YESSS!! hahah

everyone is asking the same thing, besides will there be KVLT meet n greets (yes there will be)... and people want to know, "when will we hear new music??" and the best answer for that is Hawthorne Heights tour...we wont be putting music online until after its mixxed in septemberish, so just come to the shows and have some fun, try to soak in the new tunes as much as you can in a live setting, and we will be playing alot of songs off of dear diary..

Stoked to get back out on the road and build some more crazy memories. Travis

BAMBOOZEL '07 RECAP

I want to thank everyone who watched us play at bamboozel on sunday, we were blown away by how many of you there actually were.. We were on our best behavior that day because last year the people who run bambooze got BUMMED at us for having a rather messy and expensive food fight with fall out boy (see bamboozel video '06) so we just chilled with friends from other bands and what not. Everyone was really nice and stoked to see us, and very inqusitive on how we had been doing for the last few months..The signing was tons of fun and it was a joy getting to briefly meet all like 2000 of you in line haha! And to the KVLT! sorry we weren't more prepared but we are always ready to be spontaneous and do something in the spurr of the moment so its all good....

ANYWAYS, we are gonna try and put together a bamboozel video for '07. We filmed a good bit so we will edit down the footage into some glorious and awesome, and it will probably be slightly different than last year seeing as we just put it behind the music for the lastest plague. Playing at Bamboozel was such an affirmation...it made us so stoked to finish the vocals and get out on the road this summer...its going to be insaneeee. Again, thanks so much to our fans we owe you everything..

BAMBOOZLE SIGNING AND KVLT M&G
We will have a signing at our merch booth after we play. The time for the signing will be posted at the merch booth.
Regarding the KVLT... we will be having a meet and greet for all members (past and present) who have their laminate. Stop by the merch booth to find out further info for this event.

Большой роли для нас это не играет, FFTL просто собирается устроить встречу с фэнами с THE KVLT. Может как-нибудь и к на заедут!! Чтоб это случилось - "демандь" здесь ФФТЛ!

Да, для тех кто не вкурсе, в группу пришел новый участник (уже давно) и звать его Manning (это имя, а не глагол в инфинитиве), занимается он - Dragontap, точно не поет=)

PART 1
На своей myspace странице FFTL написали следующее:

ONWARD TO VOCALS!
In case you have been under a rock or incapicitated somehow and haven't had access to the internet, We have been in LA for the past couple months living in a home that doubles as a studio tracking guitars, bass and other craziness for our new record. We just recently finished tracking all the music for the new album and are moving on to vocals. I rented some mics and some studio gear, and we got some awesome sounds for matt's voice today. We are all putting our heads together and working hard to make the vocals on this cd BAD ASS, and so far we are stoked on everything we have written and recorded. I know everyone is anxious to hear new songs, and as soon as we know when there will be streamable songs i will post about it and give everyone a heads up...we are making an entire album and its the first time we have ever done it all by ourselves so it will be a minute before new songs are online...please bare with us! This is the coolest thing i have ever done and I'm so excited for it to be finished...I'm am also excited about going back on tour this summer! We are gonna play as many old songs as we can and throw in some new songs for everyone to slam dance to.

Смысл таков: Трэвис сообщает, что группа была в Лос-Анджелесе, записывала музыку к новому альбому и сейчас они разбираются с вокалом, петь будет Мэтт. Для этого они купили новое оборудование, с которым вокал будет крутым. Это в первый раз, когда толко они сами делают альбом! Так же Трэвис обещает выложить в скором времени новый материал, и он с нетерпением ждет тура, который пройдет этим летом.

Тур будет по Америке. Жаль к нам не заедут и выступать они будут в рамках фестиваля HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS... THE SHOW MUST GO ON TOUR совместно с Second Serenade, Brighten и Power Space.

Ну а наш сайт тоже готовится к выходу нового альбома группы и по этому мы собираемся сменить дизайн ближе к дате релиза. Пока есть только замысел, а над дизайном надо думать. Я надеюсь справимся. Будет круто!

ЧЁрт! Похоже Сонни ушел из группы(( Очень жаль( Но надо продолжать) Многие фаны группы поддреживают группу и говорят, что жизнь не окончена на myspace.com/fftl(там можно узнать подробней, в статье "2007 year of chanegs")! Все будет ОК) Надеюсь. Нет, лучше бы он остался)) жаль..

Переехали

Вот мы и переехали! Теперь сайт будет здесь, а не на прошлом домене! Большое "спасибо" за это одному товарищу не разобравшемуся в ситуации! Молодец продолжай в том же духе "друг"! Только дизайн мой удали. А то....
